Our Story
The fertile plains, where the golden sun kisses the earth and the Ganges flows, are the heart of our story.
We are a family of egg farmers and traders for over half a century.
Selling lakhs and lakhs of egg in these many years we have realized few genuine concerns associated with loose eggs, their fluctuating price, mysterious origin, unknown freshness and inconsistent quality.
To tackle these basic issues, we partnered with local farmers and guided them on how to enrich nutrition and taste of eggs through better feed, and maintain the premium quality throughout. Glad It worked!
Then comes freshness, which is directly proportional to the time the hen lays an egg and how fast it reaches your table. For this, better transportation was put into the system.
All the above efforts put together made a visible and lovable difference.
But there was one problem, despite being better, we were also selling loose, merely on the word of mouth, because our entire focus was enhancing egg and nothing else.
So an inexperienced customer could not tell the difference between “loose” vs “Us” And thus, at the end of the day, it was a game of loose vs loose(Us) where we were the actual losers.That’s when we realized the need of recognition of good things, and this is how “Sona Anda” was born.
We envision “Sona Anda” becoming a household name, synonymous with fresh eggs.
We aim to bring the labor of our farmers, the warmth of our hen and a wholesome goodness at a just price to every breakfast table, every family meal.

Despite being the third generation poultry farmer and having 30 years of personal experience, I saw three major gaps.
Too many loose eggs are sold out there, but no one knows their origin and how fresh they are, and the biggest one, their inconsistent quality, which makes all the difference.
I wanted to change that—to create eggs that taste incredible, pack real nutrition, and come from a known farm and Its freshness can be tracked, this led to the foundation of Sona Anda.
